Inversions are an excellent way to cultivate balance and energise the body and mind. Going upside down releases endorphins, improves circulation, and stimulates the lymphatic system, helping to boost mood, reduce anxiety, and detoxify. Inversions are also fun to learn!
Sammi’s technical approach enables students to grasp the mechanics of headstand, forearm stand, and handstand. We will begin with a warm-up flow before exploring strength exercises for core and shoulder stability, alignment guidance, tips to overcome fear, and playful progressions. You will leave with practical tools to empower your practice!
This workshop is intended for anyone wanting to refine or kickstart their inversion journey. It is ideal for students who regularly practice yoga, but prior experience with inversions is not required to participate.

For me, the way I adjust says… I am right here with you. I'm not here to correct or impose. I'm simply here to offer an insight you can take or leave. A dance between beings. It’s about contact and connection...The giver and the receiver.
Therapeutic touch & physical adjustments are profound ways to elevate your students experience within their Yoga practice, but it can be daunting to offer.
This 9 hour immersion is intended for Yoga Teachers/Movement Facilitators — Whether you’re a teacher who never offered hands-on adjustments or perhaps you simply want to up-level your skillset, there is so much to learn & receive from this workshop. Please note this immersion is over 2 days.

Over 2 days, join Berlin based Antonia Lingemann for a weekend of immersive Katonah material here at The Space. Katonah Yoga® incorporates classical Hatha Yoga with Taoist theory, sacred geometry, mythology, metaphor, and imagination in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being.
This training is designed for everybody; whether you have no experience with this material or you joined us already in June. This 10hr container is for both newcomers to Katonah, as well as practitioners who would like to further refine their practice & knowledge of the theory. Both days will include learning about Katonah material, applying it into our practice, and then time for theory, reflection and questions. You can log these 10hrs with Katonah Yoga® for TT hours.
Day 1: 12-5pm: Pranayama, Maps & Meditations
We’ll start with a 2hr practice, putting theory straight into our bodies. We’ll delve into the breath as a diagnostic & transformative tool, developing tools and techniques for transformation. Through guided breath practices, you’ll learn to regulate your energy, reorganise your internal space, and reimagine what’s possible. Katonah charts and maps are meditative tools. One reads maps, but one travels territory. Traveling routes guides the mind and the breath. The revelations come through experience —moving through time and space.
Day 2: 10-3pm: Katonah Sequences & Adjustments
We’ll begin with a 2hr practice, putting theory straight into our bodies. The repertoire of signature Katonah sequences in the practice is conceived to manipulate our container so that it becomes more agile and durable, asking that we organise it formally rather than habitually, which helps to set up the conditions to redirect a life. We’ll learn some therapeutic adjustments for practice; we’ll leave with deeper knowledge of how to experience this practice and offer it.
Saturday October 18 + Sunday October 19, 2025
